Varioscope® M5dental
With the new Varioscope® M5dental
with integrated light and camera system, Life Optics®
miniaturized the high-end surgical microscope with all of its excellent
performance characteristics to a headmounted vision system. The
Varioscope®
M5dental combines the traditional characteristics of
Varioscopy® (autofocus, zoom and parallax control),
which are successfully utilized in surgery, with coaxial light and
the possibility of documentation and presentation from the dentist’s
perspective.
 This
new development opens up new perspectives for dentists. A crystal-clear
3D image at any working distance (300 to 700 mm) and any magnification
by means of the autofocus function is ensured. The integrated coaxial
light allows a shadow-free illumination of the work area and the
unusually large field of vision of 30 to 224 mm provides an outstanding
overview. Furthermore, the zoom function allows a stepless and arbitrary
selection of magnification factors between 2.0 and 9.0.
The integrated autofocus video camera system allows documentation
and presentation from the user’s perspective. Variable pupillary
distance and correction options for individual optical data allow
quick adjustment for any user. In exactly the same manner, its rapid
and uncomplicated use in several treatment rooms is ensured.
